A is for Asia

Asia is the largest continent. It is 1.5 times bigger than Africa.

Asia is mostly in the northern and eastern hemispheres.

Asia is so big that it touches three oceans: the Artic, the Indian, and the Pacific. It borders Europe, Africa, and Australia.

Asia has 44 countries, and over 4 billion people.

Beginning

This blog is here for my 5 year old son, William, as an outlet for his mild obsession with Alphabet projects. He is getting into geography, nearly learning all the countries and capitals, and wants to keep learning more about these places. So each week, there will be a theme based on the next letter of the alphabet. Tomorrow Will should make his A entry to kick things off - I think he has decided that A is for Asia.
